We are looking for Volunteers to participate on our Board of Directors. Becoming a volunteer offers you the opportunity to:

• Make a contribution to the growth and development of the Toronto FM Community

This opportunity is only open to IFMA Toronto members. Express your interest by filling out this short survey – follow the provided link below. Director, Marketing & Communications:

General Requirements:
• Attendance at Board Meetings (generally occur last Monday or Wednesday of the month 5:00pm-8:00pm.)
• Attendance at least 3-4 monthly events annually.
• Meetings outside of monthly board meetings as required for portfolio

Director, Membership:

General Committee Requirements:
• Attendance at meetings for committee

Specific Requirements for Each Committee

Young Professionals’ Committee
• Young Professional age demographic (under 35) a requirement
• Attendance to Young Professional events
South Central Committee
• A member of South Central with a knowledge of the area
• Attendance to South Central events
Marketing Committee
• Familiarity with marketing and communications – education/experience
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to write/edit copy, weekly deadline requirements
• Active with social media, LinkedIn, Twitter etc
• Experience with word press would be a bonus
• Samples of work / references may be required
• Attendance to at least 4 events annually
