We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager, Technical Services to work with University the Office of the Dean, Lassonde School of Engineering for this exciting opportunity.

Are you a professional in the field of public health, planning, construction management, facilities management? Do you possess excellent interpersonal skills including flexibility, discretion, tact, and judgement as well as superior oral and written communication skills? Are you familiar with laboratory environments? Do you possess project management and financial management experience? Do you possess knowledge of occupational Health and Safety, OHSA, WHMIS and industrial regulations? If so, keep reading!

In this role, you will provide facility and health, safety and laboratory technician oversight and direction on the day to day lab operations at the Lassonde School of Engineering.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A Post-secondary education in public health, planning, construction management, facilities management or equivalent. Have a combination of Project Management, Facility and/or Health and Safety Certification preferred. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess a minimum of 3 years related experience as a facilities /property manager/technical operations. Experience must include project management and financial management . Also required is a minimum of 1-2 years people management experience.
