What can I expect to do in this role?
This is an exciting opportunity to support OCWA’s Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) Group in continuing its evolution of the AMM Program. These positions offer unique opportunities to develop and implement AMM programs and technical standards for wide ranges of infrastructure, leveraging OCWA’s Work Management System (WMS).

You will provide support and strategic advice and expertise to the Manager of the Asset and Maintenance Management Group for successful delivery continuous improvement of the AMM Program, based on industry leading principles of Asset Management. This role will also include using soft skills to facilitate workshops, provide training, assist with progress updates, document development and management, and preparing communications materials.

Location: Mississauga

How do I qualify?
• Valid Class G driver’s licence.
• Extensive overnight travel within Ontario.

• Demonstrated knowledge of CMMS, Work Management Systems, and PC software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance management.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices and their application.
• Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices related to the functional/plant areas of work in water and wastewater maintenance, operations, and administration.
• Knowledge of legislation related to water/wastewater maintenance, operations, and health and safety.
• Knowledge of project management principles/practices.

Skills and Ability:
• Good problem solving, planning, project management, analytical and research skills.
• Develop, review, revise, and implement maintenance procedures and program standards.
• Planning, organizational, and communication skills to deliver projects as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with and providing support to staff, colleagues, clients, and management to ensure that all program and project requirements are addressed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to program and standards documents, and deliver training to facility operations and maintenance staff, administration, management, and CMMS super users.
• Prepare required detailed reports, meeting minutes, and actionable items.
• Prepare, review and implement work plans.
• Excellent computer skills.

Salary Range: $71,243 – $104,983 per year
